The Security Service of Ukraine blocked the activities of an anti-Ukrainian network. Searches were conducted throughout the country, including Transcarpathia

Officers of the Security Service of Ukraine, together with the Prosecutor’s Office of the Crimea, conducted a complex of procedural measures aimed at documenting and blocking subversive activities against Ukraine by members of an anti-Ukrainian network involved in organizing provocative actions at the request of the aggressor country.

Law enforcers found out that the coordination of the anti-Ukrainian network was carried out by Artem Buzila, who sent instructions regarding the conduct of anti-Ukrainian activities directly from the administration of the Russian president. Its financing was carried out by people of the former Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Zakharchenko.

In the framework of the opened criminal procedure, law enforcers conducted 28 authorized searches in different regions of Ukraine. During them, unequivocal evidence of the involvement of network members in committing unlawful actions in the interests of the Russian special services were found.

As a result of investigation measures in Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Lviv, Transcarpathian, Mykolaiv and Odesa regions, investigators seized forty-six magnetic storage devices and thirty-eight mobile devices with important pre-trial investigation materials and data for examination.

The members of the "combat group" of the anti-Ukrainian network were identified. During the searches at their places of residence, law enforcement officers found a map of one of Ukraine’s regions with marked bridges and other strategic objects and literature on military topography. Seven hundred grams of TNT with five electric fuses, two grenades F-1 and RGD-5, and more than six hundred rounds of various caliber were seized from the offenders.  Urgent investigative and operative measures in the framework of a criminal proceeding opened under Part 3 of Art. 110, Part 1 of Art. 111 and Part 1 of Art. 255 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine are being taken.
