Repeated voting at the elections of mayors of major cities will be held on November 15th if there is no absolute winner in the first round, the CEC Chairman Mykhailo Okhendovsky said.
"If none of the candidates receives the required number of votes on October 25, territorial electoral commissions will appoint the repeated voting on November 15," – Okhendovsky said, stressing that this date can not be changed.
The Chairman of the CEC also said that the election of mayors by the system of absolute majority will be held in 35 cities of Ukraine with population of over 90 thousand. "This means that in order to win, a candidate must receive 50% plus one vote," – Okhendovsky said.
