The head of the Transcarpathia Regional State Administration Oleksiy Petrov asked to allocate funds for the repair of the roof of the Irshava district hospital. The storm damaged the roof over the maternity ward and intensive care units. UAH 500,000 was allocated from the regional budget for the repair of the roof.
The next issue is meals for medics who treat patients with COVID-19. The regional council allocated for this purpose UAH 533 thousand.
The Regional Public Health Center, whose laboratory has started PCR tests for COVID-19, also needs financial support. The services provided by the institution were not contracted and additional funds are needed for its maintenance. UAH 1 million 200 thousand was allocated from the regional budget for the Center.
