The Right Sector of Transcarpathia to the police: no person with a criminal record will get power!

"We have been travelling the region a lot and we see, hear from people – "we are fed up" with activities of law enforcement agencies!" – so representative of the Right Sector of Transcarpathia Bohdan Pylypiv began his speech at the great meeting of law enforcement agencies at the prosecution office in Transcarpathian region.

He said, "From now on, no person with criminal records or charges of abuse of office will be appointed to the position."

He said that people provide to the Right Sector a lot of information on the activity of so-called law enforcement authorities. and actually on abuses, all that is being systematized, will be made public and there will be a reaction.  

Representative of the Right Sector summarized in the face of law enforcement officers: "If you want to work in a new way, then work. And you should know – the old ways will be gone. And, please, pay attention to the actions of the current government, they are starting to use criminal methods, engage criminal units. This should not be, and will not be."

Then, the prosecutor expressed his request to representatives of social movements to coordinate their actions with the current legislation. "As a prosecutor, I guarantee the objectivity and transparency of the prosecutor’s office activities in the interests of citizens and for the rule of law" – Sydorchuk said making it clear that he was willing to work with the public, including patriotic associations and even suggested "to unite forces in a fist" to restore order in the region.
