The results of the 2018 football season were summed up in Uzhgorod district

On December 23, football teams of Uzhgorod district gathered at the "Zinedine" Sports Complex, the press service of Uzhgorod District Council informed.

According to a good tradition, they summed up the season and awarded the winners of the football championship of Uzhgorod district in the 2018 season.
The event was attended by the chairman of the district council Ruslan Chornak, the administrator of the district council Yuri Frintsko, the deputy of the Transcarpathian Regional Council Myron Pompel, the chairman of the Football Federation of Uzhgorod district, deputy of the district council Ivan Kovach, the head of the Department of Education, Youth and Sports of the District State Administration Marianna Mykhailyshina and other respectable guests.

FC "Zirka" (Lintsi) became the best both among adult and youth teams in the championship. It should be noted that the boys of the FC "Zirka" once again showed a good and decent result in the football championship. This year, the team once again won gold in the football championship. FC "Tisa" (Esen) won the second place in the championship among adult teams, FC "V.Lazy" won the third place. Among the youth teams, FC "V.Lazy" won the silver in the championship, and FC "Korytnyany" won the bronze medals.

FC "Medea" (Orikhovytsia) won the competition among the adult teams, FC "M.Dobron" won the second place, FC "Verkhovyna" (Onokivtsi) won the third place. Among the youth teams, FC "Orikhovytsia" won the prize, FC "M.Dobron" came second, and FC "Onokivtsi" came third.

Not only the best teams, but also the best players, as well as those, who are actively developing football in the district, were awarded. In particular, the awards were presented to the chairman of the district Football Federation Ivan Kovach, his deputy Vasyl Khmelnytsky, the president of the FC "Zirka" (Lintsi) Yuriy Tekiliy and the team coach Oleksandr Petsa, the president of the FC "Konvektor" (Korytnyany) Mykola Kalabiga and the coach Victor Gogol, the head of the team "Medea" (Orikhovytsia) Oleksandr Komar and the coach Yaroslav Hrynchuk and others.
