The resident of Vynogradiv district, who fatally injured two pedestrians in Vylok, has been found

At dawn, on August 22, in the village of Vylok in Vynogradiv district, the bodies of a 26-year-old man and his 19-year-old girlfriend were found near the railway crossing. Both were victims of an accident. 

The driver of the vehicle, that had hit the pedestrians, fled from the scene. The police searched for a white minibus "Mercedes Vito" for committing the fatal accident.

The next day, the driver came to the police himself. The 24-year-old resident of the district said that he had hit pedestrians in the dark, and when he saw the lifeless bodies, he got scared and fled from the scene. Friends helped to push the stalled vehicle home… 

 A criminal proceeding over the tragic accident in the village of Vylok was initiated under Art. 286, Part 3 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The offender faces imprisonment for 7 to 12 years.The investigation continues, pre-trial restarint against the offender is being elected.
