The report of a bomb in the “Zakarpathaz” premises was false

Today, on April 5, the reception of the "Zakarpathaz" JSC received a telephone report about a bomb in the main office of the company.

It happened half an hour before the announced press conference for national and regional media on the subject of separate fee for network servicing and transportation.

Representatives of the Main Office of the National Police in Uzhgorod and Mukachevo and the State Emergencies Service of Ukraine Office in Transcarpathian region responded immediately. Workers of the company were evacuated, the head office and production facilities of the company were fenced.

The search for explosives began.

So the announced press conference had to be held in a nearby place. The journalists received detailed information, answers to the questions that they had and comments of the chairman. As it turned out, the bomb threat was fake – law enforcement authorities will be investigating the false call.
