The regional office of the National Trade House of Hungary was opened in Uzhgorod

November 19, the final international business meeting under the project "Development of regional cooperation and promotion of economic integration" was held in Uzhgorod, during which the official opening and presentation of the third European regional office of the National Trade House of Hungary took place.

 The "International Contact Days" took place under the V4EaP Extended Standard Grant №21370113 of December 9, 2013. They were organized by the Transcarpathian Chamber of Commerce with the support of the International Visegrad Fund.

During the implementation of the project "Development of regional cooperation and promotion of economic integration", a series of international business meetings took place in Poland, the Czech Republic, Hungary and Slovakia. The activities under the project contributed to the creation of long-term-oriented common institutional platform to provide advice to entrepreneurs and establishing a regular exchange of business information.

The final international business meeting was held in the hotel "Druzhba". The participants were representatives of business circles of Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Czech Republic, Austria, Germany, Serbia, Croatia, Estonia, Bulgaria, Belarus. The topics of the meeting covered construction, construction machinery and materials, equipment, plumbing, heating, ventilation, lighting, interior, as well as non-traditional forms of energy, wood processing, agriculture, engineering and more.

The director of National Trade House of Hungary office Peter Shkopinets said that this body had been founded in Hungary in 2012. A year ago, the Hungarian House launched a new program that provides for the opening of 22 Trade House offices in 8 countries: in 7 countries neighboring with Hungary and in Poland. Thus, the office in Uzhgorod became the third in Europe. Soon, offices in the Transcarpathian Beregovo and the Slovak Kosice will be opened.

Exports to Hungary will be easier thanks to the Trade House, which cooperates with all sectors of the economy. 

After the official part, the business meeting participants continued discussing the ideas and establishing international contacts which, in essence, was the main purpose of the forum.
