The regional government controls the gasification of settlements in Transcarpathia

On Tuesday, April 15, the deputy chairman of the "Naftogaz Ukraine" Igor Prokopiv came to Transcarpathia. At the RSA, there was a meeting on urgent issues of individual settlement gasification and modernization of the gas transportation system.
According to Igor Prokopiv, today the primary task is to conduct a complete inventory of unfinished construction of gas pipelines in the region. To do that, a working group chaired by the head of the RSA Valeriy Lunchenko will be established in the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration.  The full information on all the objects and unfinished projects shall be submitted to the Ministry of Fuel and Energy of Ukraine. After processing, they will decide on the funding so that all people, who want to bring the gas to their homes, could do it. 
Another issue that was considered at the meeting is completion of the branch pipeline to the village of Horinchevo in Khust district, which was launched in 2006. The facility is equipped with the process equipment in full. For the final completion of the construction, it is necessary to perform works on the power supply of the gas distribution system, communications and signaling, automation and remote control, to complete landscaping. About 3 million hryvnias is needed to complete the construction.
– Today, our challenge is to find funding to complete the construction. We may use funds of the "Ukrtransgas" PJSC, we are considering co-financing from different sources. This is why we held a meeting today to identify further ways of working towards the completion of the works, – Igor Prokopiv said.
