This year, the Regional Council allocated 1,176,000 UAH for implementation of the environmental protection program. The program will be financed from the Regional Fund for Environmental Protection. The funds will be allocated for safe collection, transportation, recycling and disposal of wastes, including hazardous chemicals. Also bank reinforcement, environment monitoring activities will be conducted.
Under the program, 200,000 UAH is to be allocated for the collection and transportation, disposal of hazardous chemicals in the village of Rokosovo in Khust district. Almost 100,000 UAH will be spent for the bank protection of the Lysychanka river in the village of Lysychevo in Irshava district. Almost 600,000 UAH shall be allocated for the reconstruction of drainage channel "Domororadzh" in Perechyn. 90,000 UAH is provided for the improvement of the "Narcissus Valley" reserve.
