As of December 23, last year, Transcarpathian region received from the reserve fund of the state budget 1,638,000 UAH to pay for the cost of temporary accommodation of persons displaced from the temporarily occupied territories of the East.
In Transcarpathia, currently there are 3132 registered IDPs. Of these, 2879 persons arrived from the East Ukraine, 253 – from the Crimea.
All citizens, who have applied to the regional center, have been provided with temporary housing. In Uzhgorod, IDPs are mostly settled in the "Complex Zakarpattya" LLC. Their number is increasing every month.
