The region began preparation for the heating season

Regional authorities began preparations for the new heating season. 

Local authorities were instructed to organize inspections of installations and objects of housing, economic sector and public sector institutions. Based on their results, the measures to prepare for the autumn-winter period of 2015 – 2016 will be developed with provisions made for energy savings by implementing less energy-intensive equipment, advanced insulation materials and advanced technologies.  

Also local authorities were instructed to develop measures to minimize the consumption of natural gas in the production of thermal energy at utilities and boiler houses public sector institutions, replacing it with alternative fuels.

By October 1, means of gas, water and heat metering will be actively implemented in private homes and public sector institutions.                   

       Mukachevo and Uzhgorod city executive committees were instructed to ensure repayments of debts to utility companies for consumed energy by September 1.
