The radio “Yeden” will broadcast tales… from ATO participants (ANNOUNCEMENT)

Oleksiy Umansky, the founder of the first crowd-funded radio, that broadcasts from Uzhgorod, announces a special programme:

"Today at 20:00, on the radio "Yeden", we are listening to fairy tales.

"ATO Soldiers Read Fairy Tales for Kids" is an art and social project, in which 18 ATO soldiers read 17 fairy tales and 2 Carpathian legends.

The project was originated in the famous Lviv cafe Virmenka, and was originally intended to honor the memory of the killed heroes and to engage soldiers in the social activity. As a result, the project turned into an art and social one, because thanks to it, soldiers undergo integration and art therapy, they feel needed, share their experience and knowledge with children through tales, tell about themselves through fairy-tale heroes, that good always wins over evil, that you should be honest, help others.

Most of the project participants have already been demobilized, they served in the Armed Forces and volunteer battalions in 2014-2016.  At the front, the project participants were scouts, medics, machine gunners, etc. And in peaceful life, our heroes still study at universities, work as engineers, geologists, DJs. Among them, there are 17 men and one woman. Those are officers and privates from different parts of Ukraine: Lviv, Dnipro, Chernivtsi, Ivano-Frankivsk, and Kharkiv.

Listen to the first block of fairy tales on the radio "Yeden" at 20:00. Yedenradio.com"
