The problem of Uzhgorod railway hospital was discussed during the nationwide conference call

On June 17th, the head of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration Vasyl Hubal took part in the nationwide telephone conference, held by the Deputy Prime Minister Valery Voschevsky.

The first issue on the agenda was the transfer of property complexes of railway institutions from state to municipal ownership. In particular, the Deputy Prime Minister asked the head of Transcarpathia about the situation with Uzhgorod railway clinical hospital and what caused discontent and a warning strike of hospital workers.

Vasyl Hubal informed that Uzhgorod district council had adopted the necessary decision take the hospital on their the balance sheet back at the beginning of March this year However, this issue still has not been resolved. "Because the process is delayed, problems with financing of the health care facility arise – the region has finds for this purpose only until July.  In addition, it was reported today that the draft decision should be amended to oblige the district council to use the property for its intended purpose and not to dispose of it", – Vasyl Hubal said.

The Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Andriy Pivovarsky, in turn, explained that similar situations have occurred throughout the country. "Only 8 of 141 packages of documents on the transfer of railway hospitals from state to municipal ownership currently meet all legal requirements. Therefore, today, the Ministry of Infrastructure will send explanations on this issue.
Another issue that was considered at the meeting was the performance of tasks in the area of ​​road management. Vasyl Hubal asked the government officials when the funds from the state budget for these purpose would come. 

The Vice Prime Minister assured that the 407 million hryvnia would be allocated to the regions by the end of the month.
