The police will not fine owners of cars with foreign registration for violation of customs rules

This was announced on Facebook by journalist Pavlo Biletsky. He writes: "Attention! Some people spread online the misinformation that supposedly, as of January 1, the police received the right to fine owners of cars with foreign registration for violation of customs rules. To find out whether this information is true, we asked the Chief of Patrol Police in Uzhgorod and Mukachevo Yuriy Martsenyshyn to comment on it.

So, Mr. Martsenyshyn said that they had not received any orders or instructions to pay closer attention to owners of cars with foreign registration. Also, the chief of the patrol police promised to inform the public if they receive such orders. So owners of cars with foreign registration should not worry about this, unlike State Border Guard Service and the SFS senior management, who are doing everything they can to complicate border crossing procedure and life of such car owners in general".
