In Irshava district, the police detained a man who was distributing films with elements of pornography. The man will be prosecuted for distribution of pornographic products.
In the city of Irshava, local law enforcement officers, together with officers of the Anti-Trafficking Department of the Main Office of the National Police in Transcarpathian region, documented the fact of sale of a disc with pornographic content.
A 37-year-old resident of Irshava district sold to a buyer a DVD with a pornographic film. The police detained the man and seized a box with other disks.
The seized video products were sent for examination.
An investigation over the sale of pornographic video content has been initiated. A criminal proceeding was opened under Part 1 of Article 301 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The man faces a fine in the amount of fifty to one hundred non-taxable minimum incomes, or arrest for a term of up to six months, or a restriction of liberty for a term of up to three years, with the confiscation of pornographic items and the means of their production and distribution.
