The police are looking for the shifters, who stole five bikes during one night

Not so long ago Uzhgorod police detained a young couple, boy and girl, who were engaged in theft of bicycles. The perpetrators are being brought to justice. And now, it seems, that bicycle thieves appeared in Uzhgorod again. During just one night of 7 to 8 October five expensive foreign-made bikes were stolen – reported the Office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in the Transcarpathian region.
Thus, unknown attackers having picked the lock stole from the house of an Uzhgorod citizen two bikes "Camacho" and "5th Avenue" worth six thousand hryvnias. The bike "Espiro" worth UAH 1,600 was stolen the same night from the store room of a 26-year-old Uzhgorod resident. The bicycle of "Ardisia" brand was stolen from another resident of the city. A "Merida" bicycle was stolen from a 27-year-old female Uzhgorod resident. In addition, the same night three children’s carts were also stolen …
Interestingly, all the victims of night thieves were residents of high-rises at the Svoboda Ave., and in all these cases the thieves picked up the keys to the outbuilding doors. All this suggests that it was one and the same group of thieves. The thieves are searched by the police. Meanwhile the police urge citizens to take charge of the preservation of their values. If you don’t have a combination lock at the entrance door, you should install it. Also provide a reliable door and lock in your back rooms where you store bikes, baby carts, and other material assets.
