The action plan for the implementation of the State Anti-Corruption Policy (Anti-Corruption Strategy) in the region for 2015 – 2017 has been approved.
The regional officials are tasked to actively promote the work of the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption. Also, they plan to develop mechanisms to obtain reliable information on quantitative and qualitative indicators of corruption. The strategy provides for elimination of corruption constituents in public procurement.
The Deputy Governor Mykhailo Rivis will be in charge of the implementation of the strategy. District state administrations, municipal executive committees, departments of the regional state administration, structural subdivisions of the regional state administration were instructed to report on the implementation of the action plan to the department of interaction with law enforcement, prevention and detection of corruption and defense of the regional state administration.
The department, in turn, is accountable to the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption.
