The phenomenon of twins in Transcarpathia

In the village of Velyka Kopanya in Transcarpathia, there are as many as 65 pairs of twins. The cause of the phenomenon, according to the locals, is the healing properties of the spring water in the village. 
The birth certificate of two twin brothers, Matviy and Tymofiy, was handed over to their parents this year by the village council secretary Oksana Sergeyeva. Thus, the famous settlement now has sixty-five pairs of twins. Source.

The reason for this phenomenon is believed to be Kopanya springs. Their water is considered to be healing, everyone who visits the village takes some for themselves. It is delivered even to Kyiv. Big TV channels, journalists from abroad come here to report about unusual facts.
