The Parliament will consider changes to the budget no later than February 25

The government will ask the parliament to hold an extraordinary meeting of February 25.

This was announced by the Prime Minister Yatsenyuk during the government meeting on February 14.

He reminded that on February 16, the government plans to register in the parliament amendments to the budget and after that he would meet with representatives of the factions within the coalition.

"We are going to ask the parliament to start actively working so that we could adopt the relevant laws by the end of the month," – he said.

"I will be meeting with the Speaker and members of the coalition and do not rule out that it will be necessary to convene an extraordinary meeting, tentatively on February 25, if we agree, during which we can pass the whole package of laws" – Yatsenyuk added.

Yatsenyuk also said that amendments to the state budget and certain related laws would allow the IMF’s board to formally approve the decision to grant Ukraine financial assistance under four year cooperation program.
