The Parliament passed the law on improvement of the administration of VAT after having removed all articles abolishing preferential taxation with value added tax for farmers.
233 deputies voted for the bill №2173a.
According to the explanatory memorandum, the purpose of the document is to amend the Tax Code and other legislation to improve the functioning of electronic administration system and its effective implementation on a continuous basis om July 1, 2015.
According to the chairman of the Committee on Tax and Customs Policy Nina Yuzhanina, all articles concerning the abolition of the special tax regime, value added tax and agricultural activities were removed from the text of the law.
In addition, she said, the amendement was made that allows to transfer funds from taxpayers’ accounts opened at the relevant bodies of the Treasury in order to pay off arrears due to differences in tariffs for heat energy, heating and hot water supply, centralized water supply, drainage services that were provided to the population and / or businesses that provide services for the supply of relevant services to the population, which arose due to the mismatch of the actual cost of service and the tariffs approved by a public authority.
As you know, at the beginning of consideration of the bills that stipulate changes in the administration of the value added tax (VAT), a group of deputies headed by Oleksandr Bakumenko (party "Petro Poroshenko Bloc") blocked the rostrum of the parliament demanding to prevent the abolition of special regime of taxation with VAT for agricultural producers.
