Verkhovna Rada adopted the Law "On Amendments to the Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers "On standardization and certification".
238 deputies voted for the bill №3168.
"The law amends the Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers "On standardization and certification" specifying its scope and establishing that certification of food products, services and management systems in the state system of certification shall be voluntary," – the press service of the Parliament informed.
As noted, the law simplifies the access of domestic products to the CIS and world markets; ensures the right of producer and consumer to obtaining of reliable information about food; improves the competitiveness of Ukrainian products.
