The Parliament exempted charitable aid for participants of the ATO from taxes.

229 deputies voted for this, the "Ukrainski Novyny" informed.

The law amends articles 165 and 170 of the Tax Code on the exemption of charitable aid intended for the combatants from the tax on personal income for the duration of the ATO.

This means that charitable aid for the purchase of or in form of special personal protective equipment (helmets, body armor), technical surveillance means, medicines, food will be exempt from the tax on personal income.

The bill was registered in the Parliament by the President Petro Poroshenko.

As you know, in early April, the Parliament allowed the financing of the national defense through charitable contributions.
