The new Mayor of Uzhgorod proposes a land moratorium

The newly elected Mayor of Uzhgorod Bogdan Andriyiv submits to the session of the City Council of the VII convocation the draft decision on the moratorium on the disposal of land resources in the regional center Transcarpathia.

He wrote that on his page on facebook.

"During the campaign, I promised Uzhgorod residents that the primary task of the local government should be the preservation and effective disposal of the assets of the community – land, property and budget resources. What was going on with land in Uzhgorod over the last decades defies any analysis. I submit for the consideration of the community and political parties (especially those represented in the City Council) the project of one of the first decisions of the newly formed City Council on the moratorium on land alllocation. I hope that in accordance with their election promises, representatives of each political party with a mandate of trust from Uzhgorod residents will unanimously support the draft decision!" – Andriyiv wrote.

PROJECT

1.  For the period of the inventory of land resources and formation of the city cadastre, to set a moratorium:
– On acquisition of land for construction and maintenance of residential buildings, commercial buildings, as well as for individual garage construction;
– On change of the purpose of the previously allocated land;
– On conduct of land auctions and the sale of land or rights to land at auctions.
