On September 27, the "Slice of contemporary art of Transcarpathia" was exhibited in the atrium of the building RSA.

The exhibition, which includes about fifty works from about 30 artists of the region, since the beginning of the year, has visited several Hungarian cities (Miskolc, Debrecen, Budapest, Erd) and the Slovak Košice – under the project being implemented with the support of the Consulate General of Hungary in Uzhgorod.

The exhibition in the atrium of the RSA building was opened by the Head of the Department of Culture Victoria Frolova, consul of the Consulate General of Hungary in Uzhgorod Laszlo Vida, the chairman of the regional organization of Union of Artists of Ukraine Boris Kuzma and the director of the Regional Art Museum Francisk Erfan.

In particular, Laszlo Vida noted that everywhere the traveling exhibition was received with genuine interest and the works of contemporary artists of Transcarpathia were positively reviewed. The consul wished the artists inspiration and expressed hope for further cooperation and equally interesting exchange art events in the future.

Francisk Erfan added that such traveling exhibitions are really necessary, since, in addition to the presentation of creative potential, they give opportunities for professional communication of artists on both sides of the borders, which certainly enriches all participants.

The exhibition will last for two weeks.
