The Ministry of Income says that VAT has not yet been compensated with bills of exchange

The Ministry of income and taxes states that as of today, not a single bill of exchange for refund of value added tax has been issued.

This was reported at the briefing at the Ministry by the Minister of income and taxes Oleksandr Klimenko, the UNIAN reported.

"So far, no applications have been received. No bill of exchange has been issued," – Klimenko said.

He reiterated that the issue of bills of exchange remains voluntary choice of business.

"No one forces anyone to anything. We refund VAT with real money", – he said.

It was reported that the amount of refunds of value added tax to entrepreneurs – VAT payers in January-September amounted to 42.8 billion hryvnias, while applications for refund amounted to 39 billion hryvnias.
