The Ministry of Education promised not to cut teachers’ salaries

The Ministry of Education rules out any wage cuts during the state budget sequestration.

This was announced by the press service of the Ministry of Education

According to them, when discussing the austerity measures in the Cabinet of Ministers, they have reached an understanding on the inaceptabibility of wage cuts and increasing of workload for teachers and educators.

The Ministry of Education has proposed other measures to achieve budgetary savings that do not violate the rights and social benefits of teachers.

The detailed plan of public spending optimizing will be announced later.

As was reported earlier, the Ministry of Education announced their intention to prevent the reduction of salaries in the educational sphere as a result of the budget sequestration.
