The Minister of Education will be in the westernmost region of the country next Thursday, August 16, the RSA press service reported.
According to the preliminary program of the working visit, Lilia Grinevich will take part in the extended meeting of the college of the Department of Education and Science of the RSA, as well as in the ceremony of prize awarding to the winners of the Olympiads and the teachers who trained them.
In addition, on the same day the official opening of the GoCamp-Transcarpathia program will take place in Beregovo district, in Velyki Beregy bilingual secondary school.
In addition to the Minister of Education, the event will be attended by the Director of the Public Initiative Oksana Nechiporenko and the head of the RELO Office at the US Embassy in Ukraine John Silver.
During the project GoCamp-Transcarpathia, 700 children from 10 schools of the city of Beregovo and Beregovo district, both Hungarians and Ukrainians, will work together on social projects, overcome language and cultural barriers and visit the city of Lviv.
It is not known at this time whether there will be consultations with the Hungarian minority during the Minister’s visit.
