The Minister said that the amount of taxes can be decreased further

The Minister of Finance of Ukraine predicts the decrease of the number of taxes, which today is eleven, and reduction of the administrative burden.

Natalia Jaresko said that at the briefing, the "Ukrinform" reported.

"Interest rates of our taxes, the administration system itself, the complexity of reporting for business is a heavy burden, except possibly for the single contribution. We need more electronic procedures, less paperwork. The issue is not always about the rates, but also about the number of taxes. In December, we reduced it from 22 to 11, and we can reduce it further. Special attention will be paid to the administration," – Jaresko said.

According to her, currently the discussion of the new tax reform is taking place under the auspices of the National Council for Reforms.

"Our intention is to have a new tax reform, which will be very transparent and clear, which will give businesses the understanding that the administration and pressure will be lower. The rules will be more clear and simplified. We are now in the process of gathering information," – she said.

The newly appointed head of the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine Roman Nasirov said that both local and foreign experts are involved in the work on the tax reform.

The new comprehensive tax reform, he said, will be ready in October this year.

Recall that under the previous reform the number of taxes was reduced from 22 to 11.
