The Minister promised to consider the potential of Transcarpathia

On Saturday, April 12, the head of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration Valeriy Lunchenko met with the Minister of Youth and Sports of Ukraine Dmytro Bulatov, the press service of the RSA reported.

First of all, the head of the region Valeriy Lunchenko expressed hope that the visit of the Minister of Youth and Sports would give impetus to the development and modernization of the sports industry in Transcarpathia. Given the events in the Crimea, today there is the need to relocate Ukrainian athletes training bases from the peninsula. And given the recreational, tourist and spa potential of Transcarpathia, it makes sense to organize training facilities and sports venues here.

 – I am pleasantly surprised with the development of sports infrastructure in Transcarpathia.Your region may be an example for other regions in terms of modernization of the industry, – Dmytro Bulatov. said – Given the existing sports facilities in the region, the recreation potential, climatic conditions and the understanding with the management of Transcarpathia, we can consider holding sporting events in this region.
To note: in the region, there are 2124 sports facilities, including 26 stadiums, 332 gymnasiums, 282 football fields.
