The Mayor of Uzhgorod is in the top 20 of the rating of innovator mayors

Mayors of Uzhgorod, Chernihiv, Hlukhiv and Irpin made it to the "Rating of Ukrainian Innovator Mayors".

This was reported by the organizers of the project – the "Ukrainska Pravda" and the International Mayors Summit.

It is noted that during 2 weeks, professional jury and ordinary Ukrainians were nominating mayors, who introduce innovations in their cities.

As a result, 400 applications were received, and the professional jury selected the top 20 mayors.

In particular, the mayor of Uzhgorod Bohdan Andriyiv is also among the top 20 innovator mayors.

It is noted that at the first stage of voting, only the innovativeness of a mayor and practices introduced by them were taken into account. The assessment criteria were in line with the European Capital of Innovation World Rankings and included innovations in all areas of city life: urban planning, public services, culture, health, environment, security, communications, entrepreneurship, startup ecosystem, city brand.

During the second stage, jury members will also assess transparency, integrity, honesty and reputation of the mayors among city residents.

The names of 5 finalists will be announced on November 28-29, at the International Summit of Mayors, organized by the Western NIS Enterprise Fund in Kyiv.

From November 29 to December 22, popular voting will take place on the site of the Ukrainska Pravda, which will determine the most progressive mayor.
