Pogorelov said to the Head of the Department of Education of Uzhgorod City Council Ms. Babunych: "We need to work hard to establish private institutions in Uzhgorod – both shools and preschools." Babunych informed that new rules for licensing of institutions are coming into effect, and the department would work on it. She emphasized that the reorganization of institutions – such as that occuring at the "Yakynka" – is nothing exceptional, it happenes every year. The official also reported about the fact that at the expense of the state subsidies they had equipped several city schools with modern multimedia systems.
