Uzhgorod yesterday celebrated the Day of the Last Bell. This year, it rang for the last time for 684 graduates of Grade 11 and 1,097 graduates of Grade 9. Overall, the 2015-2016 school year ended for 14,605 Uzhgorod students.
The holiday of the Last Bell took place in Uzhgorod school No.3. It was attended by Uzhgorod Mayor Bohdan Andriyiv, who wished the graduates a successful future.
Bohdan Andriyiv also presented diplomas to teachers and the best students, winners of the various stages of nationwide competitions, contests for academic excellence, sporting achievements.
Today, on Poshtova square, there will be the city holiday of graduates, where gold and silver medals will be awarded to graduates of Grade 11.
