The XII International festival of young talents "Rekitske Suzirya-2015" took place from 2 to 6 of July at the Mizhhirya professional lyceum. The children’s art festival took place under the auspices of the UNESCO International Centre and the slogan "Love Ukraine as your mother!", "Great God, the Holy One, save our Ukraine and our peace!".
This year, the festival participants from Lviv, Odesa, Poltava, Rivne, Ternopil, Transcarpathian regions and from abroad were competing in seven traditional categories: poetry, prose, journalism, illustration, artistic photography, art song and literary and artistic composition.
There also were interesting workshops, meetings with famous artists, live communication and a wave of positive emotions, exchange of ideas and art works on the lyceum radio studio "Red Cranberry".
The "Rekitske Suzirya" was also attended by the ATO participants. They took part in the inflammation of a memorial bonfire and a lamp near the stelle of the Heavenly Hundred and heroes of the ATO.
The lyceum presented guests and the participants of the festival an exhibition of artistic and technical works, workshops on machine and hand embroidery, carving, cooking of the Verkhovyna dish "Riplyanka", organized a tour to the Ethnographic Museum and the Museum of the History of the Lyceum.
Following the XII International art festival of young talents "Rekitske Suziry-2015," students of Mizhhirya professional lyceum received awards.
