The Information Day on the EU research and innovation programme “Horizon 2020” will take place in Uzhgorod

On Friday, December 12, at 14.50, at the rectorate of UzhNU, there will be a press conference as part of the Information Day of the Framework Programme for Research and Innovation "Horizon 2020". The event is sponsored by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.

The main objectives of the event is to introduce a wide range of potential applicants and interested persons to the vision of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine regarding the activity of National Contact Points, to provide expert advice on the specifics of participation in the FP "Horizon 2020" and to introduce new contests in the following priority areas, "Food safety, sustainable agriculture, marine research and bioeconomy" and "Health, demographic change and well-being", activities of Maria Sklodowska-Curie, "Inclusive societies" and so on.

The participants of the press conference:

– Ye. P. Dubinsky, the National Coordinator of NCP of Ukraine in the "Horizon 2020" programme;

– S. S. Shapoval, the Deputy Head of the International Cooperation and

European Integration Department, the Head of the International scientific and technical cooperation department of the MES of Ukraine;

– N.Boyko, Sc.D., Professor of UzhNU;

– T. M. Symochko, NCP on priorities "Health, demographic change and well-being" and "Food security, sustainable agriculture, marine research and bio-economy"

and other experts.

Transcarpathian Philharmonic Chamber Orchestra will play a pre-Christmas concert

On December 17th, the Chamber Orchestra of the Transcarpathian Regional Philharmonic Society invites you to its pre-Christmas concert with the soloists – Olena Yurosh (piano), Victor Kovacs (trombone) and Taras Popovich (flute).

They will perform exquisite Baroque music (T.Albinoni, G.Pergolesi, J.S.Bach) and classicism music (W.A.Mozart).
