For decades, bushy fir trees have been majestically growing in the heart of Svalyava. Therefore, for five years now, on New Year’s holiday, they have been decorating one of two colorful green beauties in the city.
The height of the tree is about 28 m. Not all district centers of the region can boast such a tall Christmas beauty. And alive, rather than felled in the forest, to boot – Svalyava City Council informed.
Under the Christmas tree, they arranged a nativity scene with Santa Claus and New Year reindeers, throughout the city, Christmas garlands were hung. This year, they used the same toys, decorations and fairy-lights that have been purchased over the years, as now is not the time to spend extra money on decorations.
On St. Nicholas Day, the central city Christmas tree was lit with dozens of festive lights, decorated with hundreds of toys, lanterns, fairy-lights, glass balls. Harmoniously complemented by bright illumination of the city, the evergreen beauty will be creating a good mood and festive atmosphere not only for kids but also for all adults.
