Heads of territorial bodies of ministries will be agreed with local councils! The Government responded to the request of the Transcarpathian Regional Council deputies.
February 26, at the meeting, the Regional Council deputies adopted an appeal to the Parliament and the government to appoint heads of local authorities, including law enforcement officials from residents of the region in agreement with the Transcarpathian Regional Council. Yesterday, the Regional Council received a response from the Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine – the Minister of Regional Development, Construction and Housing Volodymyr Groisman.
He instructed ministries and central government, regional state administrations to ensure constructive cooperation during appointments and dismissals of heads of territorial bodies of ministries and other central authorities, heads of enterprises, institutions and organizations belonging to the jurisdiction of the central government, including consultations with local authorities regarding personnel issues. The Deputy Prime Minister made a proposal to the Ministry of Justice to consider those issues in order to improve the procedure of appointment and dismissal of heads of territorial bodies of the ministries and other authorities, as part of measures to decentralize power.
