January 11 of the next year, in the border village oof Astey in Beregovo district, the first culinary "Festival of gurka and homemade sausage" will take place, the site of Ihor Melika informs. At the festival, they plan to cook homemade traditional Hungarian dishes, and then determine the winners.
Organizers promise different kinds of gurka, homemade wine and vodka. The winners will be determined in the following categories: "Blood gurka", "Liver gurka", "Homemade fried sausage", "Homemade smoked sausage", "Brawn", "Smoked bacon", "Soiled bacon with spices", "Greaves", "Bograch-goulash", "Fried pork leg in the oven", "Fried pig in the oven" and "Homemade wine".

7:00 – Traditional slaughter of pigs
7:00 – 13:00 – Pork dish cooking. Welcoming and presentation of festival participants
7:00 – 18:00 – Exhibition and sale of Transcarpathian folk needlework. House wine tasting
13:00 – Inauguration
13:00 – 14:00 – Delicious dinner with music. Roma live music
14:00 – 17:00 – Entertainment program
17:00 – Competition for the best dish
18:00 – Dancing, entertainment
