The first teaser of the historical action film “Zakhar Berkut”, which was shot in Transcarpathia, has been released online (VIDEO)

The teaser was posted by the FILM.UA Group on the YouTube channel.

According to the film synopsis, the film is set in 1223. According to the plot, the Mongol horde headed by the Khan Burunda is moving to the west, destroying everything in its path. After reaching the high Carpathian Mountains, the army stops at the foot. However, at night, several local hunters – the Berkut brothers – secretly sneak into the camp and release the prisoners. The furious Khan decides to take revenge and destroy the Carpathian settlements. To do this, he finds a traitor among the locals, who shows a secret passage in the mountains. However, a small community of mountain hunters led by Zakhar Berkut have a plan to permanently stop the enemies.

The film was made by the Kinorob studio, the premiere will take place on October 10, 2019.

The shooting of the film took place in Transcarpathia and Kyiv region this summer.

The director is Akhmet Seitablayev, co-director is John Win.

Starring Andriy Isaenko (Cyborgs), Oleg Voloshchenko (Watchtower), Robert Patrick (Terminator 2), Tommy Flanagan (Gladiator, Brave Heart, Guardian of the Galaxy), Poppy Drayton (Downtown Abbey), Alex McNicoll (The Fifth Wave, Axel), Viktor Zhdanov (Cyborgs), Nurken Tumatayev (Macmafia), Danylo Kamensky (Watchtower) and others.

The film will be released internationally under the title The Rising Hawk.
