One of the most popular charity events in Transcarpathia – the auction "Buy a date – give a child a holiday" this year has finished. The bidding stopped on the first minute of December 8, those who offered the highest bid for each lot are the winners.
While the organizers are preparing the official statistics, let’s do a preliminary analysis of the results of the auction.
Boys and men
This year, 233 men were offered as lots. As expected, the public and well-known people had the largest bids.
The largest amount was offered for the lot that was put up by well-known Ukrainian TV host Oleksandr Pedan. Lina Furman agreed to pay UAH 3790 for a meeting with him.
He is followed by politician, former head of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration Valeriy Lunchenko. Andrian Krets offered 3410 hryvnias for the opportunity to have coffee with the People’s Deputy.
The third largest lot among the men is television journalist Michael Schur, the organizers recorded the bid in amount of 3350 UAH, which was offered by Zakhar Matula.
The top ten most expensive dates include Robert Horvat (3230), Henadiy Hutman (3190), Denys Man (2700), Bohdan Andriyiv (2270), Oleksiy Petrichenko (1990), Andriy Andriyiv (1850), and Mykhailo Rivis (1810).
In general, bids over 1000 UAH were offered for 24 dates with men.
Last year, in 2017, the winner of the auction was Robert Horvat with the result of 2380 UAH, and Michael Schur ranked second with the result of 2040 UAH.
Results can still be adjusted by the organizers.
