On Friday, February 8, the first Prayer Breakfast was held at the initiative of the Interconfessional Spiritual Council of Transcarpathia and with the support of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration, the press service of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration informs.
The event with the participation of representatives of various religious denominations and communities, leaders of the region and districts of Transcarpathia, diplomats, representatives of creative intelligentsia and business circles took place in the atrium of the Regional State Administration.
– The Prayer Breakfast has no political purpose and is not related to the elections, – Hennadiy Moskal, the head of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration said. – Its main goal is to show interconfessional accord in Transcarpathia and to jointly pray for peace and prosperity of Ukraine. I sincerely thank the Interconfessional Spiritual Council of Transcarpathia for the initiative and I very much hope that the Prayer Breakfast initiated today will become a good tradition for Transcarpathia.
