Yesterday, March 15, the wife of the President of Ukraine Marina Poroshenko came to Transcarpathia, where she visited several locations in Mukachevo and Svalyava.

First, Marina Poroshenko visited the Mukachevo inclusive school No. 13. At the beginning of last year, a resource room for pupils with special educational needs was made there, the website of the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko informs.

Now 11 children are enrolled there for inclusive education.

Also, the president’s wife visited the Transcarpathian Regional Children’s Hospital in Mukachevo.

Afterwards, Marina Poroshenko visited the Inclusive Resource Center in Svalyava. It was opened in the framework of the All-Ukrainian project of the Poroshenko Foundation "Inclusive Education – Level of Consciousness".

There, she visited the Svalyava center of substitution renal therapy, which annually provides about 3 thousand sessions of gemeodialysis.

"According to Marina Poroshenko, this year inclusive education is organized in 247 educational institutions, where educational services are provided to 556 children of the Transcarpathian region. It’s almost 2.5 times more than that in 2016, when the reform of inclusive education had just begun in Ukraine," – the President website reported.

Recall that, along with Marina Poroshenko, Petro Poroshenko also visited Transcarpathia. His program included a trip to Krasne Pole, where the 80th anniversary of the proclamation of the Carpathian Ukraine was celebrated, and a meeting with Uzhgorod citizens.
