The film “Cyborgs” will close the “Days of the New National Cinema” in Uzhgorod

The film shows are a part of the traditional "Sakura-Fest".

For the first time in the region, the recently established public organization "Transcarpathian Film Commission" presents the "Days of the New National Cinema" to popularize Ukrainian cinema products. The best Ukrainian films are shown in the large hall of the UzhNU administration building (Narodna Square, 3).

On Wednesday, April 25, they screened the animated fantasy film "Mykyta Kozhumyaka" directed by Manuk Depoyan.

"Film production is now being actively developing in Ukraine. We try to select the best films in the categories: children, documentaries and adult. Therefore, we will present three screenings every day. In general, the event is associated with the establishment of a new organization called the Transcarpathian Film Commission, whose main purpose is to popularize our region with a view to attracting cinema production," – Vasyl Chaikovich, the head of the Transcarpathian Film Commission says.

The co-organizers of the "Days of New National Cinema" are Uzhgorod City Council, Transcarpathian Regional State Administration and Uzhgorod National University. The final screening will be the film "Cyborgs" on Friday, April 27, at 19:00.
