The film about Euromaidan will be screened in Uzhgorod (Announcement)

The opening film of this year’s Docudays UA "Euromaidan. Rough edit" will be screened in Uzhgorod on November 21, in the "ILKO" Exhibition Center, at 18:30. The moderator of the discussion about the film will be a Ukrainian human rights activist, journalist and co-coordinator of the project "Without Borders", the coordinator of the Resource Center for IDPs Maxim Butkevych. Admission is free!

"Euromaidan. Rough edit" is anthology of three months of the revolution, from the perturbed protest to national unity. The film is interesting because it combines the works of many young Ukrainian filmmakers who filmed the events on the Maidan – both daily life and hottest moments.

"The film "Euromaidan. Rough edit" happened unexpectedly. We were preparing the XI Docudays UA and suddenly realized that we had no opening film. During the events on the Maidan we could only talk about the Maidan. So, naturally, and the opening of the festival, we wanted to show the Maidan. We have asked the filmmakers, who were filming the Ukrainian protest, to give us their best shots. Episodes of future films on the Euromaidan formed a kaleidoscope of revolution, which needs no comment," – the PR-director of the festival Docudays UA Daria Averchenko said.
