The appropriate cultural initiative was proposed by Ukrainian Association of Florists.
The Flower Festival "Love in St. Miklos" in an old castle in Chynadiyevo near Mukachevo will be held in the castle on 14-15 of May. 10 teams of professional florists from all over Ukraine will come there to demonstrate their skills – the Holos Karpat informs.
"In the castle, using the language of flowers, they will tell about the eternal search for harmony and happiness and devote their works to the romantic love story that actually happened here centuries ago. Those will be the grand floral installations exhibited in the halls of the castle, on the territory, even on external walls. Rose has always been considered the symbol of love. Therefore, it will be the queen of the festival. Also vegetable materials will be used: vine, grass, moss, tree branches, stones and many little things which are strange at first glance and not typical to floral design…" – the organizers announce.
Fans of the beautiful things from Ukraine, as well as from neighboring Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Hungary, Poland, the Czech Republic will be able to admire the flowered Castle and hear the story of true love under the light of torches. And, of course, to make selfies on the background of bright and fragrant flowers.
The festival will continue with the performance of the known Lviv street theater "Resurrection" with unforgettable theatrical fire show.
