A resident of one of the villages in Rakhiv district reported to a detective of the criminal police sector for children that his 22-year-old fellow villager had had sex with his 15-year-old sister, who said that everything had happened with her consent.
The girl had been dating with the suspect for about a year, so when he asked her to go out at 02.00 in the night, she came without hesitation. The guy offered her to drink a little vodka and to go with him to a house nearby, which was not lived in at the time. Having drunk a little, they had sex, and then fell sleep. The girl returned home in the morning, when asked by the mother, where she had spent the night, the daughter told her everything that had happened. Since the girl is a minor, her family immediately turned to the police.
– Currently, the criminal proceeding under Part 1 of Art. 156 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (committing lewd acts against a person under sixteen years old) has been initiated, such acts shall be punishable by restriction of liberty or imprisonment for up to five years – the chief of Rakhiv District Police Vitaly Shymonyak reported.
