The events to the National Library Day start today

On the occasion of the Day of Libraries, which is traditionally celebrated on September 30, all libraries of the region prepared festive events. In particular, two major regional libraries planned whole programs of the celebrations that will last for almost the whole week.

 On September 27, in the Transcarpathian Regional Library for Children and Youth, there will be a meeting "Sorceress of young souls" – on the occasion of the anniversary of the leading contemporary writers for children Halyna Malik. At the same time, the visitors will attend a presentation within the socio-cultural project "All Transcarpathia reads to children." The beginning is at 13.00.

On Wednesday, September 28, at 17.00, the Transcarpathian Regional Universal Scientific Library will open its festive program with the campaign "Living Library".

On Thursday, September 29, the "adult" library invites to the "Biblio Cafe" – tasting of new books and library services with aromatic coffee and sweets (Department of documents in foreign languages, Kapitulna st., 10) and will hold a street campaign for distribution of promotional leaflets "See you at the library!".

And the Library for Children and Youth on this day will hold a library quest "Mysterious Library Maze" (Department for students of 5-9 grades, Voloshin st., 20), which starts at 15.00. In addition, on September 29-30, there will be the campaign "Join the library community on social networks and win a prize" (the multimedia sector, Voloshin st., 20).

Of course, the actual holiday will be the most eventful.

Transcarpathian Regional Library for Children and Youth is preparing for September 30 the following:

– Congratulations from the youngest readers "My library is the best!" (Department for preschoolers and students of 1-4 grades, Voloshin st., 20). The beginning is at 10.00;

– Puppet show "Animal Book Hospital" from the mini-theater "Teremok" (Department for preschoolers and students of 1-4 grades, Voloshin st., 20). The beginning is at 10.30;

– Flash Mob "Read like us! Read better than us! Read with us!" (Department for preschoolers and students of 1-4 grades, Voloshin st., 20). The beginning is at 11.00;

– Hour of the readers’ self-government, "I am a librarian" (Department for youth, Teatralny lane, 9). The beginning is at 13.30.

Transcarpathian Regional Universal Scientific Library on the National Day of Libraries will hold:

– Free registration at the library

– Campaign "Forgiveness of sins";

– Hourly tour for visitors "Unknown Library";

– Announcement of the results of the contest of essays on "Reading – Information – Book" (Department of documents in foreign languages, Kapitulna st., 10);

– Celebration of the National Library Day. The beginning is at 12.00;

– Presentation of bibliographic index "There is a country Frankiana…". The beginning is at 13.00;

– Workshop on plaster sculpture "Hand-made beauty." The beginning is at 14.00;

– "Art of our readers" (workshop on making of dolls with corn leaves). The beginning is at 15.00;

– Master class on decoupage. The beginning is at 15.30;

– Master class on making of chiffon flowers "The beauty of the fabric." The beginning is at 16.00.

– The quest "Secrets of book mazes." The beginning is at 16.00.

– Literature workshop from well-known regional writer, winner of the National Shevchenko Prize Miroslav Dochynets. The beginning is at 17.00.
