On Thursday, September 19, at 15.40, there will be the press tour of Uzhgorod press-club to the "Eurocar" where on that day they will begin the production of the new model of SKODA Octavia with Combi body.
The official ceremony of production launching will be attended by the member of the Supervisory Board of the "Eurocar" CJSC Oleksiy Yahychev, the CEO of the "Eurocar" CJSC Igor Tsarenko and representatives of the ŠKODA AUTO.
Octavia was the first model produced by the "Eurocar" facility in Solomonovo. From the start of production in March 2002 until the beginning of June this year, the Ukrainian plant produced 83.3 thousand models of this family. In total, over 92 thousand Octavias have received the Ukrainian registration. Last year, with a score of 7893 cars (32.4% in its class and +21.13% compared to 2011), Octavia of the second generation became the absolute leader in Ukraine in terms of sales.
