On Friday, August 26, the consideration of the "Mukachevo shooting case" on the merits began.

The trial in Mukachevo city and district court started with an hour delay.

All four defendants – Volodymyr Burcha, Rodion Horbenko, Serhiy Deyak and Roman Munchak – were delivered to the courtroom.   

The defence filed the motion for disqualification of the prosecutor due to numerous breaches of procedure and obstructing the suspect’s right to defense. However, the court did not grant the request. Then, they discussed the possibility of consideration without the victims, because none of them was present in the courtroom after the judges returned from the chambers.

Therefore, it was decided that the trial would continue on August 31. At 14.00, it will begin in the first building of Mukachevo city and district court on Shevchenko street.
