The chess championship “White Rook” took place in Uzhgorod

On April 13, individual and team chess championship of Uzhgorod "White Rook" took place in the PADIYUN.

The competition was attended by 47 participants (38 boys and 9 girls) from 9 secondary schools of Uzhgorod. The tournament was held according to the Swiss system in 5 rounds. Each school team consisted of three boys and one girl born in 2002 and younger.

       In the individual competition the winners were: among boys – Bogdan Fejsa (school №4) and among girls – Yevhenia Tymoshenko (Gymnasium). Among the teams, the team of the Linguistic Gymnasium won the competition (14 points), the school №2 team came second (13 points), the school №4 team came third (12.5 points). Winners of the competition were awarded with diplomas and medals.
